Amazing India -Louise and Stuart’s Amazing India

Namast India is the ultimate travel experience. And once one falls in love with India one does not have the slightest desire to go anywhere else.. There is no flora and fauna like India’s. There is no topography like India’s (from pristine beaches all the way to, and in between, up to the Himalayas). There are no cities as wild and exciting as those in India. There is no diversity of cultures in any country that can match India’s. There is no more spectacular and diverse Architecture than India’s. There is no tolerance like the tolerance of India. But most importantly there are NO people on the planet that can match the kindness, warmth, genuine concern, interest in foreigners, and “Chanti’ of the India people. They are as close to divine as you will find on this miserable globe! One does not go to India like one goes to the Bahamas, one goes to India to find the inner self and strength, along with everything else.. At times, one wants to pull one’s hair out and then Mother India says here, “I have a gift for you”. Then one is transported to another realm. Go to India and never return! (At least a month for your mind to turn away from your Western value system and begin to see the wisdom of India’s ethos). Your videos, thank God for them!!! Not able to make a trip now…maybe in summer, but your video definitely eases pain of not being there now… your narrative is PERFECT…India is a mother, the land your soul gravitates to because it is where we are reminded of our soul- after all, spirituality had it’s home here in ancient times & this will never go! :) it can never vanish-

I have been going since 1986…and yes I see many changes each and every year; but India is India. She always has her flavor and charm and she takes from other culures what she likes. I regret that the young Indians have taken on some western tastes….very few young females in the cities wear Saris these days. I imagine I will have to take some bad with all the good that is India!

It is a wonderful country , such diersity cannot be found anywhere else.
Hope the rapid ‘globalisation’ does not take the charm away.

To qoute a line from a movie, “That’s a fact, Jack.” I return to my beloved India every year for a paultry 3 months..I should stay and never leave. It’s only mid August and I have to wait till mid January…I long to be in India and belong in India. More home than my real home! Stuart

    Hi Stuart,
Thanks for your comments on India. I am Indian but am certainly not prejudiced. I have traveled to many countries, trying to understand their culture and history – in my view, there is no other country that is as diverse, colorful and all-encompassing as India.
