Urucu is a gas and oil extraction unit in the West of the Amazonas state, right in the middle of the Amazon forest. Run by Brazil’s state oil company, Petrobrás, it tries to tread as lightly as possible on Amazon soil by carrying out environmentally and socially responsible initiatives. The video shows the press trip that Energy Refuge took to the exploration site as a guest of Apex, the Brazilian trade and investment agency.
