If you enjoy strolling round markets, then the weekend markets at the Southbank are perfect for you. In fact, whatever you enjoying doing will be catered for at the Southbank. Dancing to a Latin beat is the main event on a Friday night, and there is something else happening every day of the week.
An hour’s drive South from Brisbane is the Luxurious Gold Coast. This is one of the classiest resorts in Australia, and is where a lot of celebrities have vacation homes.
The luxurious hotels and beautiful beaches are just a couple of the many attractions that the Gold Coast has to offer. If you are planning a visit, try not to go at the weekend or on a public holiday, as the place is absolutely packed and the traffic is a nightmare.
As this is one of those resorts where there is always something going on, it is well worth making the effort to staying here for a couple of days.
