very nice one, but not the lowest BASE jump. I’ve got a VHS copy of a 63′ cliff jump over water where parachutes are really kinda optional. Sitting in the saddle about 10′ from water.

As others have said, a low BASE jump is far more risky than a high BASE jump because you have much less time to fix anything that goes wrong. After you get to a height where you’re going to die if you jump without a chute, higher is safer.

@deank09 He had to open his parachute early otherwise he would of hit the viewing platform on the tower. He needed it to steer away over the cliff face.

A low B.A.S.E. jump is maybe riskier than a HIGH jump
If you jump from a high point, you have plenty of time to activate the parachute

That was not the lowest change title already. The landing zone was like 1000m below him. How low it is is calculated to the landing zone not to the ground closest.
