When you decide to go someplace on holidays the first question you are faced with is how to coordinate your trip. At least, you need tickets and accommodation. Nevertheless, if you are going foreign, the situation becomes more convoluted. You will need visa, international passport and a little bit of information about a country you are going to visit. The citizens, living & travelling within European Union borders are in better position. They are free to visit any European Union country without any additional papers and visas. Advantages
1) Convenience. You don’t have to hem in embassy and wait in long queues. You don’t need to worry about buying tickets and booking hotels. 2) Cost. Sometimes travel agencies have specific agreements with hotels and the cost becomes cheaper. The same thing can be said about avia and train tickets. 3) Comfort in the country of destination – you are mostly offered with transfer to hotel & the representative of the agency can solve any of your problems. 4) Your holiday is organized. You have a option of pleasure trips; you’ll be exhibited the best shops & the most interesting attractions.
Disfavours 1) Unfortunately, not all the agencies can be trusted on, some of them disappear with the client’s money. 2) Most of the people do not like to be limited – by pleasure trips, by return tickets or by the necessity of staying in the hotel they’ve selected. 3) It is not always affordable – often the excursions, offered by the agency representatives are more costly than in other places in the city.
If you select the second variant, you should be prepared to confront some problems, but of course, this variant has its sides too.
Benefits 1) You are free to select there and when to go. You are free to change your hotel and for your return ticket. 2) You are most probably to see the sites, not shown to usual tourists. 3) It’s a kind of dispute. Can’t imagine your holydaywithout risk and adrenaline? So, this variant is for you! 4) You can try & find a cheaper variant & not just accept what the agency proposes.
Disfavours 1) Once again – risk. You are not quite safe when travelling alone in the overseas country. Today you are not quite safe anywhere, but still. 2) It causes some problems in the stage of organization – getting a visa can be a problem. Interview, invitation & a lot of documents – all this can be ineluctable. So, prepare to waste some time & nerves.
