Mastery is very important especially in bluffing. If you are given acting skills then you can use it to fool your opponents of the true value of your cards. You may act as if you have the winning cards despite the poor cards in your hands and can even make them believe that you have the poor cards even though you really have the good cards.
Newbie in poker games should be patient enough to master bluffing for it requires skills plus preparation. Consistency is important in learning the simple trick. Aside from consistency, you must also need to create a predictable play to your opponents. As a newbie in the poker world, you must play poker as stated in the poker book. Continue with the game if you happen to have good cards and fold your cards and play safe when you have poor cards. Establishing a reputation of being a tight player is the first thing to accomplish before using bluffing as your poker strategy.
