    This must be Stuttgart then…
I saw the movie on TV while catching them in the 1970s,they were not only 2 but 7!
I lived in Germany in that period.
Under them a rare albino too!
This is the last one of this group, the rest died sadly enough…
    Beautifull creatures!

This tank was actually constructed for those dolphins in 2005. The zoo got two of them. Their names: “Butu” and “Apure”. Apure was the oldest riverdolphin in the world when it died in 2006 with an age of nearly 50 years. Both got caught from wild in 1975.

I really want to see this setup in person. He’d look better in a blackwater system.

@blownable Well yes, but i’m also saying that there could be many reasons why that has happend.

@blownable It could be from alot of things, like his enviorment or what you said. He is big, and you never know unless you watch him alot. 5/5

I still say the angelfish tank is the best. But this is the second best and most naturally landscaped one of all the others. The first dolphin had some kind of wound on the back of its dorsal fin. Is that injury from capture (unless you guys now breed dolphins too) or from terretorial disputes?
