Poker had different variations and among the few is the ones listed below. “Ganfija” is the Persian form of poker practiced in 16th century. French do also have their poker variation named “Poque” in the 18t century. “Poucen is the German version wile “Primero” is an early form of poker played by Spanish that was considered to be the mother of poker since it has a lot of similarities to the modern poker played today. In addition, French do also have their version named “Brelan”.
Poker evolved as the year goes by. During the American Civil War, the 52-card deck was brought up by English men and was able to come up with new poker hands such as the term “flush”. Draw, Jack Pots, and Stud came up as poker variations in 1875. It became popular and games such as 5 Card Draw, 7 Card Stud and the Texas Hold’em were added and became popular in the poker world.
