Stop using the environment as a weapon. It’s crazy how as a race we fly to the newest, and most popular craze of the day. Global warming/Climate change has spurned this green movement, and it blinds the crazed to the monies our politicians are going to make if things like cap, and trade go through.
There are companies, that are going to be rich over night, and politicians are right there with them.
And the Greenies pushing the movement will be making them rich while bowing at their alters.

Sea level rise is only one of the major problems with global warming (Melting of glaciers on LAND not sea ice in addition to thermal expansion drives ocean levens up)…don’t forget food security, water cycle changes, increased frequency of natural disasters, reducing planets biodiversity, and many other pleasantries of our planet heating up!

cap and trade for the USA will make companies here move to where it doesnt apply – in other countries, will lose american jobs, and then the companies will spew more pollution into the atmosphere then they would have under our current strict EPA guidelines we have that exist here now!

Pollution enacts a cost on the earth that we all live on. Currently we are externalizing the costs of energy production to nations that are receiving none of the benefits. If we use it, we should pay for it.

I agree not a huge decrease but basically the decrease wouldn’t split the difference of the increase from land ice melting and I don’t mean if all of it melted just if the melted around the same rates they are now, but as soon as the water ice is gone it will only be water raise.
I know a lot of people care about water level but I’d be more interested in what weather patterns would change if there wasn’t north pole for like in our current weather system.

Actually the ice in the water will decrease in volume… it’s not a huge decrease but it is a LOT of ice… just like an iceberg.. 90% is below the surface

Any ice in water won’t have much affect on water levels, it is the land based ice that will affect ice levels.

Maine has the biggest rise in water levels on RECORD. Florida, New York and Alaska are starting to go under water. Silly rabits, cheap gas is what you want, can you drive your gas guzzling SUV underwater?

Please, the US has oil reserves all over. We’re sucking the world “dry” [actually, the whole world has a lot, but if the monopoly claims it's rare it's more believable to charge more therefore generating more taxes] so when everyone else runs out, we can sell what we’ve got for 10x as much! Dirty tactics, yes. But by the time that happens, the US will have alt. energy technology making much of our oil use obsolete.
