    @theextreamfisherman Well, that’s not really a bad thing, considering River Monster! focuses solely on fish whereas MonsterQuest doesn’t.

    @theextreamfisherman Well they are not really the same type of shows. Both are great in my opinion. MonsterQuest deal more with the paranormal and cryptozoology, River Monsters is a little bit more down to earth. Both shows are diffeent and really entertaining.. :)

    @Kelthuzad126 i caught a 250 pound cat in the mekong but that was small i was told by a local, record is 650 pund cat

    Nice, thrilling and interesting show, but there have been considerably bigger Pikes reported here in the lakes of Sweden, some bigger than a bus, and some a bit smaller.

    @TheGrumpydwarf Fucking A+ Jeremy Wade is a phenomenal fisherman, as well as a excellent host and conservationist. Great show indeed, alot better then Monster Fish W/ Zeb Hogan imo. Cheers!!

    when it comes to alligator gar, these stories are indeed fiction, an alligator gar is proven to only eat what it can swallow whole they play with their food for long periods o time before deciding wether to eat it or not, that puts human beings off the menu for them entirely

    I have a friend that caught a 200 pound cat from a river here in Ky, so 108 pounds is no where near a large cat.
