This year MTV Spring Break will take place in Acapulco, Mexico. Past years the music channel has moved down to Panama City Beach in Florida and even in Cancun, Mexico for the week. For those that have never watched MTV during Spring Break, it is a time that the entire station is transferred on location at a vacation destination.
Thousands of teens are recorded dancing to top bands and singers that come down for concerts. It is an event that is looked forward to every year. MTV Spring Break is a much anticipated event that happens every year for college students that are looking to have a great time.
MTV plans big for this event. There are fun contests, parties, dancing, concerts and much more. College students from all over travel each year to MTV’s Spring Break location. It is a great time that thousands look forward to every year. It doesn’t really matter if you are actually there or at home, you can experience the fun and excitement.
Since the beach front that they will be filming at is stretched with many hotels, there will be plenty of rooms for college students to stay. MTV will be staying in the Playa Suites hotel on the north side of the beach.
If you plan on attending, make sure you do not miss one of the scheduled concerts that MTV and the hotels will be having. Many hotels are also sponsoring their own entertainment and concerts so there will be fun all day and all night long. Pool parties are always a must during this time so make sure you do not miss them, either.
With thousands of college students that are anticipated on attending this year, MTV will have a lot of activities going on around the clock. There are a few things to consider when you get down there, though. Be sure to only drink bottled water since many get ill from the local water and sometimes even the food. Just be careful what you drink and what you eat. You do not want to end up feeling miserable all week while you are there. Many people end up with stomach issues that just will not go away. It is just not worth the risk.
There are also very fun nightclubs in Acapulco that will be open around the clock as long as there are customers willing to be there. It is truly a party. One of the most popular night clubs is called the Palladium and it overlooks the Acapulco bay area.
The entire week is sure to be a blast if you make sure that you plan ahead of time. Be sure to call ahead to reserve a room so that you do not miss out. Rooms book quite quickly. It is sure to be the greatest week of the year so be sure not to miss it. 2010 promises to be a great year for MTV. Be sure to check it out in person or online.
