Ocelots are very territorial..I’m surprised he was comfortable with coming that close to you.

This cat is BEAUTIFUL ! ! !
If you want to keep a cat that looks like this, but is not wild in origin, look for an Ocicat, there’s several variations and colors.
If you don’t mind the wild side or paying through the nose, maybe a Savannah Cat might be for you…..if you’ve got $20,000.

@blackwolf085 Im with you… i hate people that think that they can mess up with nature, and animals… even dogs were made to be free … because they don’t treat them how it should be .. I’m also against animal cruelty slaughter houses you might want to check peta.com it is like greenpeace but this guys are more related to animal cruelty and wild species being kept as pets you should watch earthlings ,it is the strongest documentary i have ever watched.. btw look for sambo258 comment in video.

You both are right, it’s an ocelot. Markings are different to that of a tiger cat.

that’s an ocelot. An wild endangered species native to south and central America. They should NOT, I repeat, NOT be kept as pets. They won’t lose their wild instincts and aren’t adapted to human behavior. Unless you know a ton about ocelots and their behaviors so you can interact with them, there is a high possibility of it turning on you. DO NOT KEEP WILD ANIMALS AS PETS.
