First of all, the ideal thing is to use Internet to find (and book) your desired accommodation. Thanks to Google, just typing your query you can analyze so many good results just about what you are looking for.
Choose accommodations that are a good fit for you and your family or friends!
Hotels: you want to stay in high-quality lodging that offers a wealth of extra services, a hotel may be your best optio
Bed & Breakfasts: In Florence there are many B & B’s, some them located in the owner’s home. Often more economical than hotels, Bed & Breakfast lodging offers more of an opportunity to converse with owners and with other guests. In some cases you can book not only a room but a private bathroom as well.
Hostels: These are small, usually family-run hotels, and are the most inexpensive solution for lodging. If you do not need total privacy, you might want to book a shared room with a shared bathroom for the most savings.
Florence apartments for rent: probably it’s the solution I prefer, especially if you are travelling in group (friends or family). They give you the freedom to come and go as you please without passing for the reception; you will have more available space to relax and chill in a comfortable living room. The kitchen gives you the possibility to cook your own meals and breakfast, saving money. Well, you must not cook there, but it is something you can do, an additional good possibility. Travelling in group, you can stay altogether without the need to book more than one hotel room (saving).
In order to make the most of your visit to the last preserved Renaissance city in the world, choose lodging in the heart of the area you want to explore! Then you can enjoy creating your own walking tours – on your own schedule – to the various nearby museums, cathedrals, art galleries, parks, piazzas, and other attractions that are calling to you. Do a bit of research now, online or with a travel agency, and you will be delighted not only with Florence, but with your choice of accommodations!

I’ve been researching some possible vacation spots for this fall (November). I need help in choosing one. If anyone have any experience with any of these places and would like to give advice or if you just want to give a suggestion, please share!
Choices:
Tokyo, Japan…… 8 Days
(I don’t speak Japanese, Not sure how to drive on opposite side of road)
9 Day Royal Caribbean Cruise to West Caribbean (Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico)
(I heard this cruise-line caters to alot of middle aged folks, I’m 25.. Plus I researched the trip and its seems really formal.)
9 Day Carnival Cruise to Caribbean (Maybe Jamaica)
(Too many days at sea)
9 Nights in Las Vegas
(Doesn’t really sound to exciting, but I always said I would go on a fight night)
9 Nights in Miami
(Seems like it may be too boring if I go alone.)
Please help me choose thanks or feel free to throw out other spots.
It would be easier to make a suggestion if we knew the type of things you like. Tokyo is pretty expensive. The royal caribbean cruise would be fun. There ships have lots of things to do and no they aren’t formal. If you don’t want to dress up for formal night you don’t have to. Carnival cruises can be a little boring as they don’t offer much on their ships. Days at sea are too boring. Vegas is fun. Lots of casinos, clubs, and various entertainment options. Out of your choices it would probably be the best to do alone. There’s a lot there to do and see. Miami is fun for beaches and great nightlife, but 9 nights there is way to much. Another place I would suggest is Spain. Its very beautiful. There’s a lot of historical and cultural things to see and they also have good nightlife and shopping. You can split your time between cities. A few days in Madrid, Barcelona and a city along the coast. If Asia is a must, try going to Thailand. Bangkok is nice, lots of beautiful temples and really cheap shopping. Its really hot there but I think November is cooler. You can spend your time between Bangkok and Phuket, maybe visit Pattaya. The dollar goes extremely far there. Also consider Hong Kong and Macau. Slightly expensive but not as much as Japan and the dollar still goes far. 9 days might be too much though, and if you aren’t into gambling you may not like Macau. They have a lot of historical sites but also a lot of Casinos.
