I still have a job and a budget for a vacation, so would like to take advantage of it, where can I find good deals to the Caribbean? all-inclusive is fine, but not a requirement.
we used this site to book a cheap trip to mexico in january. we had to cancel 1 of the acitivites we booked and they reimbursed us no problem. very easy site to navigate and the prices were +/- $300 less than every travel agent we tried ! last minute (used to be site 59) is owed by American Express, so I found them reputable…

Where would you take a family of 7 in the caribbean? Ages 6-14 and Three Adults- Cheap?
We want to go on a beach vacation this year bad!! But there a lot of us and we can’t break the bank to go. All inclusive sounds great but unless it is in a US territory we’d all need passports. That would be an extra 700.00. So does anyone have any experience in this area? Where did your family stay? Is it worth the cost of passports to go to Mexico or somewhere else that has all inclusive deals? Any thoughts or advice will be appreciated. Thanks!
Hey, you might want to look into Puerto Rico. It is a US territory so No passports are needed! Because like you said passports for 7 people will cost alot. The only thing about PR is that there arent many all-inclusives but thats ok, because PR is a US territory you can eat anywhere & not worry about anyone getting sick. & you can eat pretty cheap there. Flights are cheap too. Only thing is hotels aren’t really cheap, but you can get a vacation rental house or get an Embassy suites room or something. That will fit alot of people & they have small kitchens to save money on food. Puerto Rico is a gret family destination too. There is so much to do that is appropriate for all ages. Just see this video below. Goodluck on finding what you want!

I am looking at having a honeymoon the first week of May 2011. Can you recommend a location in the Caribbean where we could go for 4-6 nights for $1500 or under (including airfare)? We will be traveling from Detroit. Thanks!
Hey bro, you talking to king of cheap, yeah? Time of year problem, cause it early summer, not prime time, but close, ok? Hawaii, like Waikiki always have rooms over by Ali Wai canal for 50 bucks nite, ok? Nice rooms, 2, 3 blocks to beach, don’t worry, nice place, older but good place, ok? Has A/C, elevator, view of mountain, nice places-find by going online to “cheap rooms waikiki”. So 5 nites, cost you $250, ok? Then you need find cheap airfare, ok? Now Detroit not near Hawaii, and that gonna be problem, but low cost carriers gonna get you from Motor City to LAX or SFO pretty cheap, like 250 each round trip, ok? But you need to buy early ok? So, not hard to find round trip from those to HNL(Honolulu) for 350 or less each, ok? So we very close to $1500 cost, minus food, shopping etc, ok? But hey, you gotta eat whereva you are, ok, not fair to count that. Also, check travel agents, sometimes they have good package deal, ok? Pleasant Hawaii used to have cheap 5 day mid week deals, for cheaper than that, still have some good deals, yeah? Ok Ok, not the Caribean, so sue me, Hawaii much mobetta, and you gonna love it. So there you go, see you in Waikiki in May 2011, yeah?
Peace and Aloha to you both from hawaii.

I am looking for a warm place with a SUPER nice resort, white sand, blue water(ocean), and sun! I live in California so I don’t want to go anywhere in the US, Hawaii, Mexico, or Canada. Also I have been to the Caribbean, so not there either. I am planning on a Tahiti vacation already, so also not there… no desire to go to Asia. I want complete relaxation where I have the choice of going to a hot nightclub(drinking age 18). I don’t care if its a place I have never heard of, I want beauty. Sorry for being picky, but please help!
not very interested in central and south america either. sorry, super picky. maybe africa? new zealand?
I suggest you to visit Costa Rica. You can take a nonstop flight from LAX using TACA (local airline) or you can consider Continental and American Airlines with connections in Houston or Dallas. Beaches in Costa Rica are beautiful, you can visit both the Pacific and the Atlantic Coast. If you can afford an expensive resort I recommend you to visit Four Seasons located in the Papagayo Gulf, if not, there are nice places to go with cheaper rates. The drinking, gamblig and so on age is 18. The weather is almost always great!!!!
