What You Should Know Concerning Wedding Musicians

What you should know about Wedding musicians depends on the type of wedding you are planning. In addition, you will need to decide if you want the musicians for the ceremony, the reception or for both. Once you have an idea of these variables, you will be set to choose the musicians.

The most traditional weddings use a piano or organ for playing the Wedding March as well as the recessional. Someone may sing during the ceremony and the person is generally accompanied by the instrument.

For less formal settings, the music may actually just be a recording or provided using another instrument. In some of these type services, there may not be any music used at all or the couple may choose a non-traditional music for the processional and recessional.

Many couples choose a band for the reception. The band can provide dance music for the entertainment of the guests. You will want to determine the length of the reception before contracting with the band.

Instead of live musicians, many couples today choose a DJ to provide the music for the service and or the reception. Mobile DJs often have access to all the sound equipment needed for either an indoor or outdoor wedding and play a large variety of music. This helps to meet everyone’s tastes.

The best way to choose a musician or a DJ for your wedding is to hear them live and in person. If you do not have a chance to hear the band beforehand, you should as friends for referrals. In addition, ask the group or person for references. Check with the references to see if they recommend the musicians. You do not want a bad musician to mess up your special day.

Wedding musicians can help to set the mood and atmosphere for the wedding ceremony as well as the reception. Choosing the correct musicians is a very important part of your wedding plans.

When you are planning a stunning Caribbean wedding, make the your day complete with fabulous wedding musicians! When the steel drum band introduces you as a couple for the first time, a lasting memory will be made even more special!

Where to Find Them — Romantic Florida Vacation Spots

Romantic Florida vacation spots are nestled around Florida, sometimes in the most surprising places. Though the traditional oceanside sunrises and sunsets are certainly romantic, you might want to consider some more exceptional alternatives. The kind to make your loved one swoon and and declare you are the most romantic person ever.

Night Lights

How about some night lights. No, I’m not talking about the big city here. I’m talking about the night sky here, and drinking champagne while looking at its beauty. And here’s a unique way to do this; rent a boat in the Florida Keys or Flamingo and put out to sea (so to speak) in Florida Bay. The bay water is peaceful and you can float beyond the bright lights and gaze up at the night sky. Don’t forget the music!

Consider Lover’s Key

Lover’s Key is another place to bear in mind for a romantic getaway. It’s an island on Florida’s SW Gulf coast. It was originally named such as one could not get there from the mainland without a boat. So, it was an, ahem, isolated site. These days a bridge connects Lover’s Key to the mainland, but it’s still a romantic getaway. How about take a sunset cruise into the Gulf and enjoy the sun’s rays stroking the horizon while you see the natural Florida. Or maybe you’d favor the morning dolphin tour and shelling expedition?

Wedding Bells

Is a romantic Florida wedding in your future? You’re probably thinking one of the Florida Keys, right? There’s something more remarkable to contemplate. It’s a South Seas wedding ceremony at Disney’s Polynesian resort. I know, Disney is a favorite of honeymooners, but one doesn’t usually think of it as being a romantic wedding spot. Want an over-the-top experience? Consider a fairy tale wedding ceremony at Cinderella’s Castle. Visualize, fireworks going off when you take your first kiss as man and wife.

Resorts, Islands and Bed and Breakfasts

Daytona Beach has a few exciting places for romance; one is The Shores Resort and Spa, where there are several couples-only packages. Enjoy champagne, chocolate-covered strawberries, a moonlit shoreline walk, breakfast in bed and spa treatments as well.

There are bed and breakfasts located round about Florida and quite a few have out of the ordinary packages designed for a amorous interlude. One little-known tryst spot is called Turtle Beach Inn. It’s appropriately placed on Florida’s “Forgotten Coast” — the area of Gulf coast from the Big Bend on the east to around Apalachicola on the west. It’s small, cozy and private, with miles of unspoiled shoreline.

How about staying at a resort that’s on its own private key? Little Palm Island in the Florida Lower Keys is indeed on its own island, with just 30 suites (28 are thatch-roof bungalows). They have a five-day romance package that would make anyone melt, what with champagne, chocolate-covered strawberries, a steaming bath with rose petals…you get the idea.

We’re known as the Sunshine State and occasionally the Tourist State, but we should also be renowned for our wonderfully romantic Florida vacations.
