In a public area (café, restaurant) “bathroom” is translated in french by “toilettes” or “WC”.

Silly comment… I know dozens of english speakers that can speak more than five languages!

It’s all about your own interest and use of capability.

Nobody dominates nobody in culture ( that’s the only thing that cannot be stolen)if you are intelligent enough to open your eyes out of your own bubble of living.

So would saying ‘ca va’ be like ‘what’s up’ as opposed to ‘comment vous appelez vous’?

@paddlepopkid I agree than english stay an important language nowadays….but I can promise you that in less that 50/100 years countries like China, India, French Africa, Brasil and so on will gain an enormous gain of population and languages like Hindi, Chinese, French, Spanish or Portuguese will become very important and less people will learn you language.
