    Time is a local consideration or view of changes. We have a local universe agreement or frame of bodies we exist in. If a spacetraveller shifts through many variating locals, he will discover more, such as he exists in his own local universe and any aliens he meet will to some degree have to syncronize with his body frame and he will to some degree syncronize to theirs unless both don’t care (out of sync) and move along. It’s about physics bending to your viewpoint and your frequency.

    That’s why I said use your imagination.

    @itreyderby prediction of the future is much more plausible – but actual travelling in time.. i just dont see that happen – maybe hundreds of years in the future ill be part of the “everbody” who said its impossible, but I dont give a shit, couse i would be dead by that time.

    sorry i’m wrong about saying the word heavy to indicate the quality responsible for gravitational pull, i mean massive.

    @myuncle2
    Castles actually can float in the air if you use your imagination, how heavy do you think space ships are, or sattelites, with enough horizontal velocity to defy the earth’s gravitation, a castle in the air is feasible, and i didn’t get that from einstein, that is from Newton whom you got to believe in cuz his physics aren’t theoretical.

    Who discovered electricity? Who made computers, rockets, radio, airplanes, trains, refrigerators, cars? Did we go to the moon thanks to Einstein? You guys are wasting time with silly theories, and if someone doesn’t understand them you always find the excuse “it’s too complicated to understand”….

  14. myuncle2
    Jul 14, 2010 @ 01:08:04

    @itreyderby Always the same excuses, if i don’t understand it it’s because it’s too complicated…blah blah…Why nobody can explain Einstein easily or simply? There is nothing difficult in this world if someone explain it properly. Einstein theories have been proven according to whom?? I haven’t seen any fact yet, not a single acceptable proof. There is nothing to understand because it’s a load of bullshit, castles in the air.

    @Manoo62
    Indeed, you are under the notion that one frame of reference is stationary the observer on earth and the other frame is the one moving at near the universal speed limit and therefore 100 years to the stationary person if they are still alive would mean a day to the traveler at near the speed of light according to Einstein’s theory, therefore the man on earth has aged 100 years into the future, and the traveler that returned has stayed physically 100 years younger (Hint: they’re twins)

    I think the only way you can tell is if you went back in time and actually did this, like if you set up a thought experiment. how about instead consider your future is always apt to change but say someone had enough intelligence to predict yours, so imagine you had that intelligence, if you see what is ahead of you and obviously u saw the past, then right now which would be considered before the future, therefore if you can see from a place in the future look into the past to now.

    Imagine normal lifespan. say it is an inch u could imagine. if u stretch that inch of elastic string, then it gets stretched obviously, and therefore, lifespan stretches. what stretches? time stretches right. i think this helps me to think of einstein’s concept of relativity cuz he clearly states we can age slower while everyone else ages faster, therefore if you stretch the rubberband, then you are stretching time, but when you stop stretching it your lifespan decreases. can someone comment?

    @myuncle2
    I think Einstein is a genius who many people didn’t understand in his day and even till now, you, for example. To understand something you don’t get, you need to look at things outside the box, which means you’re not doing it right now, so view it in a totally original way that you get. You got to have some imagination?

    Jul 14, 2010 @ 04:26:15

    Why nobody understands Einstein? Because there is nothing to understand, it’s just useless castles in the air. Nothing of what he said has been clearly proven. All we got now it’s not because of Einstein: computers, rockets, fridges, televisions, robots, electricity, cars, radio.

    @LTinvasion If you went on a space flight for a couple of years at close to the speed of light and returned 100 years from now.
    Or if you went through a worm hole on your journey and came out a hundred years before you set off.
    Why would you think you could not interact on earth the same way you do today?

  22. LTinvasion
    Jul 14, 2010 @ 05:25:12

    @Manoo62 even if you were able to see something in the past you would not be able to interact with it – thats what i meant. You couldnt touch the old buildings, punch a guy in the face or be given a blowjob from the old-style hooker.

    Jul 14, 2010 @ 06:28:01

    @LTinvasion If you travel at close to the speed of light you COULD put your feet on the ground 100 years into the future. Theoretically you COULD put your feet on the ground 100 years into the past but its extremely impracticle….at current levels of technology.

  25. LTinvasion
    Jul 14, 2010 @ 07:26:41

    Still Einstein is a genius… however we will never be able to put our feet on the ground 100 yrs in the past or in the future.
