Very inspiring. Tokyo is probably one of the most interesting and unique mega-cities in the entire world. The contrast between the ancient Japanese traditional architectures and the futuristic metropolitan cityscape is only one of the things about it that makes it a sight to behold.

@kitsuki14 lol of course i don’t expect them to change my eating “habits”. They are not that vegetarian, you are thinking of either Indians or Thais. Trust me. I’ll hardly ever be able to eat out. I’ll have to find the ingredients and make it at home.
May 17, 2011 @ 17:19:49
@tokutom what do you expect? obviously. the countries not going to change for your eating habits. they do have a lot of interesting vegetarian recipes there though.
i think you should do some more research about japanese vegetarian dishes.
anyway stay positive and i hope all goes well whether you decide to move there or not.
May 17, 2011 @ 17:42:57
@kitsuki14 Yeah but it’s a country with a fish obsession.
May 17, 2011 @ 18:25:39
@tokutom i think itd actually be a pretty good place for vegetarian, they have many varieties. and also the tofu is amazingly delicious.

汐留 ガ? ボク ワ ワカル スコシ 日本語。[You are Japanese aren't you? I haven't just embarrased myself?!]
I skipped through all the Tsukiji Fish Market stuff because I’m actually a vegetarian. Maybe Japan is a poor choice of country for me to move to but I’m looking at the bigger picture!

what is going on in Ueno in this video? is it always so lively or was this some kind of cherry blossom celebration?
