Fascinating rhythms from Uakti (or ten soulful, highly percussive reinterpretations of Glass standards that could be the best album from 1999……..) Imagery from the British social documentary movement of the 30s and 40s (Land Of Promise is an essential DVD purchase!) This might not be the Amazon basin (more Aguas da Suffolk really) but sound and image share some flow motion.
