Luton does not have a direct rail connection, but there is a free shuttle bus to the nearby Luton Airport Parkway station. London City is the smallest airport in the area and is used mostly for domestic and charter flights.
Another UK airport that is getting more popular by the day is Manchester. It is a favorite of the leisure trade, especially to and from destinations in Portugal and Spain. There are also direct flights to many other major cities in both in Europe and the UK. This should be your airport of choice if you are not on your way to London, but rather to a destination in the North or Northwest of England.

Flights between smaller cities in France and smaller airports in the UK (such as Gatwick and Stansted) are also continuously increasing.
