The CSI: NY TV show is without a doubt a resounding success. Created as a spin-off of the original CSI: Las Vegas, in the year 2004, this series has gone on to grab a loyal audience base that ensures steady ratings each season. The storyline runs along much the same lines as the original CSI: Las Vegas and CSI: Miami, focusing on the forensics team in Manhattan and following them as they solve shocking crimes.
The two major roles in the series are of Mac Taylor and Stella Bonasera played by Gary Sinise and Melina Kanakaredes. Mac is an ex-nautical. His emotions and feelings are seen when he remembers his ex-wife who was killed in 9/11 attack. He loves spending his extra time in jazz club playing guitar. Stella Bonasera in the series is hard and smart lady having powerful mind strength.
A large array of original crimes are nicely written and directed. This keeps the viewers stick to the television till the mystery is resolved. The actors keep getting crossovers to CSI: Miami and the other way round which gives the series the required twist. The appearances of celebrity artists make the series all the catchier.
The star actors acted in CSI: NY till today are Kid Rock, Susha Cohen, Nelly Futado, Nelly, John mcenroe, Rumer Willis, Ashlee Simpson, Kim Kardashian, Maroon 5, Joey Lawrence and Ed Asner. The cameo role by Ed Asner in the “Yehrzeit” episode of season 5 won the Emmy nomination for the depiction.
There are some people who wrote the episodes of this popular show. The maximum numbers of this excitement full series are written by Carol Mendelsohn, Ann Donahue and Antony E Zuiker. Each of them have written 104 episodes. The other writers are Pam Veasey, Zachary Reiter, John Dove, Peter Lenkov and Timothy Lea and many others. However Antony E Zuiker gets the credit for writing the original CSI: Las Vegas. To write this he has worked with the crime investigators of the LVMPD.
They have a telecast of 128 episodes in their sixth series which started from 17th of May, 2004. Similar to the original CSI, the episodes are attractive even to watch them for two or three times. They keep the excitement and interest on even seen repeatedly.
The real admirers of the series might be looking for the ways to watch the series or few favorite episodes when they have time. But now there is no need to look here and there.
